PLANT CITY, Fla. -- A second man has died following a workplace shooting deputies say stemmed from an ongoing dispute.
William C. Duncan, 43, died Monday, March 12, in the hours after the shooting, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office news release. He was taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital for treatment but did not survive.
Deputies responded around 4 p.m. to Bliss Enterprises of Plant City, Inc., in response to the shooting. Richard Paul Bliss, 59, was talking with two men inside the building's office when she shot both men, authorities say.
A relative of the men heard the shots, ran inside and shot Bliss to death. Authorities have not yet named the second victim nor the person who shot Bliss.
It's believed the dispute had been ongoing for weeks. The men had been living on the property and were asked to leave several times, said Col. Donna Lusczynski of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on Monday.
