Fourth body pulled from two-plane crash in the Florida Everglades

A fourth body was found in the Florida Everglades Wednesday morning.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. -- Four people died when two planes crashed over the Florida Everglades early Tuesday afternoon.

Three bodies were recovered Tuesday and a fourth was found Wednesday.

The two aircraft collided around 1 p.m. roughly nine miles west of the Miami Executive Airport.

The planes -- a Piper PA-34 and a Cessna 172 -- were with Dean International Flight School.

The first three victims have been identified as Jorge Sanchez, 22, Ralph Knight, 72, and Nisha Sejwal, 19.

On Wednesday, investigators said three of the victims were experienced pilots, while the fourth was a fairly new student pilot. It was not immediately clear who was flying or what caused the deadly crash.

Federal authorities have opened an investigation. The mud and water in the Everglades will make the investigation more challenging. The crash site is only reachable by airboat.

A year ago, a student from the same school was killed in a crash in the Everglades.
