Missing Jacksonville teen found safe, FDLE says

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled a missing child alert for Tylia Hayes.

Update: JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said a missing 15-year-old girl was found safe.

The FDLE canceled a missing child alert for Tylia Hayes.

The law enforcement agency thanked the public for sharing Hayes' information.

Original Story: JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for a teenage girl.

Tylia Hayes, 15, was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Riverside Avenue near Jackson Street. She was last seen wearing a dark-blue jacket and gray flip-flops.

Hayes also wears glasses, the FDLE said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said Hayes was reported missing Sunday night. She was last seen walking away from the YMCA, the sheriff's office said.

Anyone with information on Hayes’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 or (904)630-0500.
