TAMPA, Fla. -- A fire destroyed a two-story home shortly after 2 a.m. Friday in the 4000 block of Laver Court near Carrollwood in Hillsborough County.
Firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to nearby homes, but the house was a total loss.
Nobody was inside when the fire began, and no firefighters were hurt.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
