A body was found behind a gas station Monday morning in Venice.
According to our news partner WWSB, a resident called 911 to report finding the deceased man at a table behind the business on S Tamiami Trail near San Marco Drive. The man's cause of death was not immediately clear.
"We are in the early stages of the investigation, but there appears to be no threat to the public," the Venice Police Department wrote on Facebook.
